A week passed with an emotional bliss, my friends were not mad at me anymore, my car was delivered. Alexander would meet me daily, my life was peaceful and contented. It was Sunday evening and I was going to meet Drake and his newfound mate in a French café which was opened a few days ago. I was excited and Xander was about to pick me up.
I was dressed in my knee-length yellow sundress with floral prints. I let my brown hair in loose curls and wore my white converse. I packed a set of my cloth and some books for tomorrow because I’m spending my night with Alexander.
We didn’t go far from kissing because we were taking our relationship slow. I don’t want to rush things with him.
*Ping*
It was a text from Alexander,
Xander: *I’m waiting downstairs*
Me: *On the way*
Xander: *You look beautiful* My heart skipped a beat when I read his text.
Me: *You haven’t even seen me yet* I texted back blushing profusely. God! I feel like a thirteen-year-old, who just entered her puberty with my hormones everywhere.
Xander: *No matter what, you are always beautiful to me*
Me: *Thank you, Mr Sexy Pants*
I made my way downstairs with the biggest grin on my face. He was standing in my living room, wearing black jeans and a t-shirt along with a black leather jacket, talking to my granny.
When they saw me approaching they stopped talking. My granny had an ear to ear smile and beamed at me as soon as she saw me.
“You look gorgeous, sweetie.” My granny pulled me for a hug and I thanked her. I inhaled her scent which smelled like biscuits and almonds. I wrapped my arms around her tiny frame and she kissed my cheeks lovingly.
I turned to Alexander, he looks stunned in his spot. His eyes spoke millions of emotions.
“Xander,” I called his name softly and that snapped him out of his trance.
He shook his head and gave me a side hug “You look beautiful as always,” he complimented me and kissed my forehead.
“Thank you,” I replied him shyly. Believe me, I never felt shy in my entire life until I met him. He made me feel things that I never knew existed in me.
“Have fun you two!” my granny cheered us with a knowing wink which made my face to heat up.
He kissed my granny’s cheek and we both made our way to his car in hand in hand, “Mr Sexy Pants, huh!” he teased me with raised eyebrows.
“Oh shut up!” I smacked his chest playfully which made him chuckle.
We made our way to the café in no time. He opened his car door for me, as soon as I came out with his help. He caged me against his car with his arms on either side of me.
“You are driving me crazy, Catherine,” he whispered huskily in my ears, which made my stomach to clench.
I placed my left palm against his chest and tried to push him off but he didn’t even bulge. I could feel his hard muscles underneath his t-shirt. He kissed my earlobe and nuzzled his nose to the length of my neck inhaling my scent.
“Alexander…we are here to meet your brother and his mate, remember?” I told him with a shiver. He hummed against my skin, which made me weak on my knees.
“Xander!” I told him firmly, trying to regain my control.
“I don’t want to go, I wish this moment stops like this.” He whined like a child.
I kissed his neck with my tiptoes and made him walk away from the parking lot. I wrapped my hands around his left bicep.
“Wait,” he stopped me abruptly and kneed in front of me with one foot balancing his weight.
“What are you doing?” I asked him, mortified and clutched the ends of my sundress closer to my legs to avoid them flowing through the wind.
“Relax, sweet cheeks.” He chuckled softly at me. I looked down to see him tying me converse lace which was undone on my left shoe. “Don’t want you tripping, now, do we?” he asked me while tying my shoelace.
My heart swelled with love for this man, “All done, safe to walk.” he looked up and gave me a gentle, loving smile.
My heart skipped a beat, he stood to his full height and wrapped his arms around my waist and guided me to the table where his brother was seated. I stared at him throughout our entire walk.
What did I do to deserve him? I asked myself.
“Catherine!” Drake beamed at me as soon as he saw me, I turned my attention to him.
