The glaring sunlight woke me up. I blinked once, twice and thrice to clear my sleepy gaze to normal. I could feel an arm securely wrapped around my tiny waist, my softback was pressed against a sculpted chest. I knew it was Alexander and he was not wearing any shirt, he was only in his grey sweatpants.
I slightly turned my head to see Alexander sleeping peacefully. His face was buried in the crook of my neck, he looks carefree and young. His brown hair had a tinge of blond that I never noticed before.
I wiggled to get out of his embrace which made him groan and he pulled me closer to him. I stiffened when I felt his hardened length poking my right butt cheek.
“Xander,” I whispered groggily.
“Mmm…” he murmured burying his face deeper. My stomach made a weird flip but it hurts at the same time.
Did these feelings hurt? But it never ached before, I wondered to myself.
He suddenly opened his eyes and lifted his weight on his right elbow. His hold on me loosened and he began to sniff the air with a confused expression.
“Why do I smell blood?” he asked me huskily, his voice laced with sleep. His question made me scrunch my nose in confusion but finally, it draws sense to me.
Indeed, I feel a little discomfort in my panties.
I was mortified and without a word, I rushed to his bathroom attached in his bedroom. He panicked at my sudden behaviour and tried to reach me but I was fast and I locked the door behind me.
I checked once to confirm and my doubt was cleared, “Sweetcheeks, what’s wrong?” I heard his voice near the door, he sounded concerned.
I paced back and forth near the mirror to think of this situation. I didn’t have any tampons and I didn’t think he has one either in his mansion.
How could I be so unprepared, I must have a track on my periods but it never came on time.
I was so embarrassed to tell him and to the cherry on top, I have period cramps.
Not only I need tampons but also I need pain killers. “Catherine, you are scaring me, open this door.” His voice brought me out of my head.
I could feel the ache in my lower abdomen getting intensified. I took a large breath and opened the door. His right hand was raised like he was about to knock, he dropped his hand to his side once he saw me.
“What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” he held my shoulders and asked me with full of concern. My cheeks were flushed and my hands were folded against my stomach.
“I got my periods,” I whispered looking down at my toes. He bent to my height and tipped my chin to look at him.
“It’s just a little blood, you don’t need to be embarrassed.” He told me with a gentle smile which made me blush harder.
“Do you need something?” he asked me,
“Yeah, I need some tampons and pain killers, please.” I requested.
He nodded and pulled me for a warm hug, “I’ll be back in ten minutes,” he whispered against my hair and kissed my burning cheeks.
He pulled down a sweatshirt over his head and made his way out of the room. By the time he returned I prepared for a bath and I decided to skip my classes today.
I thanked him softly and took some painkillers and had a bath. I wore my blue jeans with a white button-down shirt that I packed yesterday.
My cramps were bearable after taking some pain killers but still, I can feel little pain. I heard someone taking a shower in the next room, it must be Xander. I made my way to the kitchen to look for Oreos and some ice cream.
I found everything except the heaven I was looking for. I felt disappointed. I could feel my eyes pricking with tears.
“Sweetcheeks, what are you looking for?” Alexander asked me from my behind.
Once he saw my distressed look and tears on my cheeks, his eyes widened.
“What happens? Does it hurt?” he panicked, “Do you want to go to the doctor?” he looked alarmed.
“Why there is no Oreos in your kitchen?” I sniffled.
“Wait, you are crying because there is no Oreos in my kitchen?” he asked me with a baffled expression, I nodded.
“Woman, you gave me a heart attack.” He told me with a sigh and began rubbing my back in soothing circles to calm me down.
“You know what? Let’s go grocery shopping, buy whatever you want and fill my kitchen. Sounds good, huh?” he asked me. Suddenly my face lit up and I gave him my brightest smile. He was amused by my sudden change of mood.
“I think, I need to know about periods because female werewolves don’t get periods, they get their heat.” He muttered to himself.
