The next day 7 March 2010 Sandeep and Ruby lived in Kolkata. But they never meet each other. Because Ruby never stayed in Kolkata after the graduation and Sandeep was a bit scared of Ruby. He always wondered that Ruby will kill him if he found him alone…
Hahaha, But this isn’t true Ruby was not that tough.
But yeah!! Ruby and Sannu where two apparent personalities. Their view of everything never matched each other.
Leave it!! We were going to meet tomorrow after years and we all were too excited about that. So, I and Ruby decided to spend a moment together. Ruby was going through some hard phases and she always wanted to share everything with me. But due to inappropriate timing, we couldn’t share anything. So, after years we were going to spend some quality time together with the real us.
Kolkata was famous for its Bengali taste. Kolkata presents you with a wide spectrum of delicacies in its street food but it also provides them at a cheap price. … I think Kolkata is one of the cheapest metropolitan in India. The public transport is pretty cheap too. Traveling here in the metro, buses, the auto is very much affordable. Kolkata is situated in West Bengal it is called Bengal, but apart from Bengalis, there are a large number of Biharis and Marwaris here, home for great business typhoons ex- BIRLA, MITTAL’S…
If you ever go to Burrabazar, You will never believe you are in Bengal. In Kolkata, you get foods (of any land ) and foodies. However, Nothing can beat Kolkata’s Rosogulla. Ruby was so fond of Rosogulla. I remember during our hostel days I used to wait for Ruby to return from home so that she can bring Rosogulla for me. We used to fight for the Rosogulla. Kolkatans believe in Eat, Love and Pray if you get a chance to visit Kolkata during Durga puja, never miss it… Ruby never missed any Durga festival. She too believed in eat and worship. Though she was hilarious in her way. The city is very beautiful in its unique ways. It was my third time that I visited Kolkata never met a chance to explore it. I had a day before our reunion. So, I and ruby decided to move to Victoria Memorial
“The stately monument is as much part of Kolkata as Tajmahal is to Delhi (Agra). Its closeness with the Taj made Victoria Memorial known as the “Taj of the Raj.” Surrounded by acres of lush gardeVictoriaial Memorial with its Italian Renaissance style architecture is still mesmerizing, especially moonlit nights. If you are interested in royal portraits (Queen Victoria and others), the Royal Gallery housed inside the monument is where you should head for. But the gallery which draws the most footfalls is a recent addition – the Calcutta Gallery. It has some beautiful paintings that give glimpses of life the in British era –‘White Town’ and ‘Black town. first”. I always wanted to see Victoria Memorial. Because i was so fond of painting and historical things. As I imagined it was so beautiful we had lunch after visiting Victora Memorial. After that, we went to Jorasanko Thakurbari “This is the famous Indian Thakur bari where famous poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore was born”. Wow, what a nostalgic place it was. It is located in Dwarakanath Tagore lane off chitpur road. I never saw church before so I asked ruby to visit St Paul’s Cathedral
Saint Paul’s cathedral is the first Episcopal church of Asia and situated at the southern tip of the Maidan adjacent to Victoria Memorial on the cathedral road. St. Paul’s Cathedral stands witness to a time full of European artistic splendor and supremacy. After exploring partial Kolkata i was satisfied that at least i know something about Kolkata now. It’s history and it’s elegance. But I remember that Ruby wanted to talk to me about something serious. There was something that was troubling her. So we decided to go to the Park next and it was almost night and one of the best time to talk about something really serious. After having dinner we went to a park near to her house so that we can reach home quickly. We set on the ground the park was full of silence and after 20 min of silence finally, Ruby spoke “I am exasperated with my life, I cannot steer this burden any further” I was surprised knowing that she wasn’t happy but why?
She had everything. I asked her what do mean and she replied “Life was never easy For me all the time Focusing on different things
I may feel tough To solve But with the basics, The ways to crack And my implementations. At the correct time, Can heal that pain
No matter how big it is”. I asked here what incomplete in her life what was she craving for and all of suddenly got a call from her mom and she was so tensed that we didn’t return back. I kept her asking but she said that we are getting late for the home. Mom is tensed we should move quickly. We shall talk about this later. And I agreed with her… Because i know her mom. But listening to her words felt like she was so tensed. And I was waiting for the right time to ask her.
